Jackson Cross Partners (JCP) is honored to have the opportunity to be a proud sponsor of the 2014-2015 Spring-Ford Golden Ram Marching Band as they attempt to take home a record 8th Tournament of Bands Group 4 Atlantic Coast Championship.
At JCP, we’re committed to supporting a variety of charitable and scholastic programs that improve life in the communities we live in and we love supporting the Spring-Ford Golden Ram Marching Band because we believe that music is an important part of public education. Research shows that music education enhances learning in other subjects and augments both mental and physical skills. Musical education is associated with increased academic performance and improved general development in students.
The Spring-Ford Marching Band Program is open to any school district high school student who wishes to expand their education through music. Any student with the desire to learn and drive to work hard is welcome to participate in the Marching Band Program.
The Spring-Ford Marching Band’s spirited group of students participate in both the Tournament of Bands and Cavalcade of Bands competitive circuit; winning the Tournament of Band Group 4 Atlantic Coast Championship in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 seasons and the Cavalcade of Bands Association Yankee Open Class Marching Band Championship in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2013.
Update: The Spring-Ford Marching Band won a record 8th ACC title on Sunday, October 26th. They had a score of 97.25 (second place was 93.35) and they took the special awards for best overall visual, best music, best percussion and best brass. Congrats to all Spring-Ford Band members!
