Managing Partner

John Morrissey is a founding principal of Jackson Cross Partners, LLC (JCP). John entered the real estate business in 1986 as a project manager with national developer, LINPRO, and then joined Rouse & Associates, the predecessor to Liberty Property Trust. John’s brokerage career began in 1992 when he joined the Jackson-Cross Company, where he quickly became a top corporate real estate producer in the Suburban Philadelphia market. He was instrumental in opening the Berwyn office, and continued building the suburban brokerage business until he left in 2000 to start his own company, Morrissey Partners.

Representative Projects

  • Select Medical Corporation: Project Manager for a national portfolio of 1,600 office locations around the United States, occupying over 4.0 million sf.
  • Communications Test Design Inc.: North American Portfolio Manager for a full-service, global engineering, repair, and logistics company in 63 leased and 13 owned locations totaling 7,482,613 square feet.
  • Tower Health Systems: Real Estate Portfolio Manager responsible for a wide range of projects including strategic planning and implementation of real estate initiatives for a growing hospital system.

Other clients include: The County of Chester; Chester County Intermediate Unit; De Lage Landen; Life Cycle Engineering; ABC Home Medical Supply; Recovery Centers of America; BB&T Bank; Brandywine Health Foundation; Sono Bello, Inc.; and McKee Risk Management.

John currently serves on the SIOR Foundation Board of Trustees for a three-year appointment as well as the Saint Joseph’s University Board of Trustees. He has also served on the Zoning Hearing Board of Whiteland Township. He was President of the Chester County Commercial Industrial Investment Council and served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Chester County Economic Development Council. He is an active parishioner at Saint Joseph’s Church; has served as Chairman of the Board for Bishop Shanahan High School; is a Board Member for CCRES Foundation; and is the Chairman of the Redeemer Klassic Golf Tournament dedicated to raising funds for the Redeemer Health food pantries in New Jersey and Philadelphia.

John received a B.S. from St. Joseph’s University and holds an M.B.A. from Drexel University. He is a licensed broker in the State of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and North Carolina. He is a member of the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, the nation’s most respected professional realtor organization, and has been recognized with various professional achievement awards over the years.

John resides in Downingtown, Chester County, Pennsylvania with his wife where they raised four children.
