As a Partner and key leader in our Advisory practice, Zachary's path reflects the kind of long-term growth, expertise, and adaptability that defines JCP. We asked Zachary a few questions about his role and where the industry is headed:
You've been instrumental in growing and leading our Advisory practice. How has your role evolved over time, and what does your focus look like today?
"My role has evolved substantially over the years, from running projects helping clients prepare their lease data for the lease accounting transition to now overseeing and running the practice. As a Partner, I am involved in all aspects of running a company. Our Advisory-specific role, outside of leading the great team we have, is focused on continuing to build on the strong rapport and trust we have with our clients while continuing to improve our services through advanced technology."
What's one area of the business you're especially passionate about right now?
"Staying ahead of the ever-changing technology advancements is the most exciting part of my role today. Leveraging technology to continue delivering fast, reliable information to our clients is of utmost importance so they can use the information to make informed decisions and drive significant ROIs. Each time there are technological advancements in Artificial Intelligence, our team is dedicated to vetting whether we can bring elements into our service platform without jeopardizing data security and quality. Because our clients all have different data security provisions, we are in a position where we must triangulate our offerings in a way that allows us to remain compliant and continue delivering quality service while leveraging advanced technology solutions."
As both a leader and advisor, what drives you most in your role, and what excites you about where the industry is headed?
"Certainly, being there for the team and knowing how much our clients rely on us drives me the most. The real estate industry is ever-changing, and having a view from both our lens and our clients' lens is fortunate and exciting. Demographics, shifts in the office market, and technology are going to shape the next several years in the real estate industry."
