Get to Know Jason Blank

At Jackson Cross Partners, it’s the people and their journeys that really define who we are—and Jason Blank’s story is a great example of that.

As Partner, Jason has been with JCP for nearly two decades, starting right out of college in the accounting department and growing into a key part of the firm's corporate real estate services platform. His path reflects not only his versatility, but also the kind of long-term growth and opportunity that defines JCP. We asked Jason a few questions about his journey:

What moments or milestones stand out most in your journey to Partner?

"In the words of Drake, “we started from the bottom, now we’re here”—only half kidding. I joined JCP fresh out of college as a bookkeeper in the accounting department, and it quickly became clear that role wasn’t the right long-term fit for me. Fortunately, JCP recognized my potential and, when the opportunity to move into transaction work arose, I jumped at it. Eighteen years and three kids later, I’ve had the privilege of working on hundreds of transactions across the country representing incredible clients. While there have been plenty of standout deals and memorable moments along the way, the real highlight has been growing both professionally and personally at JCP."

What do you see as your role in shaping the firm’s culture going forward?

"In an era where job hopping is common, JCP’s culture is part of what kept me here. It’s easy to show up every day when the foundation is built on integrity, mutual respect, and quality work you are proud to be part of. The firm has always felt familial, and as we enter the next chapter of JCP, I see my role as helping to preserve and strengthen that culture by leading with integrity, investing in people, and ensuring the firm remains a place where talented professionals want to build long, meaningful careers."

What might surprise people about you outside of work?

"During the pandemic, I got hooked on running and have since completed four marathons, with plans to keep going and eventually run destination marathons. I also share that passion as a mentor with Students Run Philly, helping middle school students push themselves physically and mentally as they train for the Philly Half Marathon. Outside of running, I’m a big live music fan and have been to about 100 shows over the past four years. But most of my free time is spent doing what I love most, being a doting dad to my three kids—coaching my son’s baseball team and exploring the city together."

We’re proud to have Jason on the team and excited to see his continued impact as a Partner at JCP.
