Get to Know Wendy Smith
At Jackson Cross Partners, it’s really the people that make everything work and Wendy Smith is a big part of that.
As our Account Manager/Database Administrator, Wendy supports both our Commercial Real Estate Strategies team and Brokerage division. She’s involved in everything from managing databases and building reports to helping with research, marketing, and training, and she does it all in a way that just makes things run smoother. We asked Wendy a few questions about her time at JCP so far:
What’s something in your day-to-day work that people would be surprised actually makes a big difference?
This would not be a big surprise to people who work at JCP that the biggest difference in my day-to-day work is the people I work with. Working alongside creative, talented professionals who are down-to-earth and genuinely care about each other—and our clients—makes a big difference in why I enjoy my work at Jackson Cross.
What do you enjoy most about working as an account/database manager at JCP?
It is hard for me to believe, my 12-year anniversary is coming up at Jackson Cross Partners and my role has evolved as new requirements surfaced. I have enjoyed the variety of work, it blends both analytical thinking and creativity. There are always opportunities to adapt current tools and explore new applications that expand how we support our clients.
What’s something in your personal life that inspires or motivates you in your work?
A commitment to continuous learning. As business and technology evolve, staying curious and adaptable motivates me to keep learning and remain relevant.
