CYBER CHARTER SCHOOL SIGNS OFFICE LEASE IN EXTON, PA
Exton, PA - March 9, 2009 - Jackson Cross Partners, LLC today announced that 21st Century Cyber Charter School signed a 12,000 square foot long-term lease at 805 Springdale Drive in Exton, PA. Located in Whiteland Business Park, 805 Springdale Drive is owned by Cox McMahon Properties.
“21st Century Cyber Charter School is a state accredited, diploma granting school serving Pennsylvania students in grades 6 through 12,” said MaryFrances McGarrity of Jackson Cross Partners. “The school was founded in 1999.”
“Unlike some cyber schools, most of our staff consists of full-time teachers and counselors who will work from our new office,” said Jon Marsh of 21st Century Cyber Charter School. “Our teachers are all certified in the State of Pennsylvania and develop and teach most of our classes. Since we are funded by the state of Pennsylvania there is no fee to attend.”
Mary Frances McGarrity of Jackson Cross Partners represented 21st Century Cyber Charter School in the transaction. The building owner was represented by Theresa McMennamin and Tom Taylor of Brite Realty Services, Inc.
In 1999 the Intermediate Units of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties saw the need for a cyber school to serve their students, but they wanted to ensure that the school offered a high quality education. These Intermediate units, and their 62 associated school districts, formed 21st Century Cyber Charter School.
The students of the school attend classes over the Internet, using a school-issued computer. The school provides all software and required hardware, textbooks, email accounts for student and parent, and technical support.
